Special-Nutella Buns

Ingredients:
1 portion of Basic Sweet Bun Dough

Filling:
150g Nutella Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

Glazing:

1 egg, lightly beaten with
1/8 tsp salt

20 hard paper cups
Some chopped nuts, as decoration

Method:

  1. Divide dough into 20 equal portions and shape into balls. Rest for 15 minutes.
  2. Roll each ball into a rectangular shape about 15cm / 6″ x 4″.
  3. Spread some Nutella onto the centre of the dough, leaving a boarder of about 1cm on all sides.
  4. Roll up from the long end like a Swiss Roll, join up the two ends and slit at the folded end. Put into the paper cup with the join side down and open up the slitted end.
  5. Leave to rise until it doubles in bulk. Glaze the top with beaten egg and sprinkle some chopped nuts on top as decoration.
  6. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 190′C until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
  7. Remove, leave to cool before serving.
