Oat Cookies
Ingredient A:
300g plain flour (sifted)
¾ tsp baking powder (sifted)
¼ tsp bicarbonate soda (sifted)
¼ tsp salt (sifted)
150g instant oat drinks
50g chopped walnuts
100g chocolate chips
Ingredients B:
1 pc egg
150g butter
100g chunky peanut butter
100g white shortening
170g castor brown sugar
1tsp vanilla essence
Methods:
- Mix ingredients A.
- Cream all ingredients B (except egg) for 4 minutes. Add in egg and continue beating for 1 minute. Fold in ingredients A.
- Scoop 1 tsp dough and shape into a ball. Place on greased baking tray. Press with a fork.
- Bake in oven 180ºC for 15 to 20 minutes till golden brown.
