Sweet Potato Balls with Nian Gao
350g mashed potato
80g plain flour
200g nian gao, cut into small square pieces (7 – 9g）
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp rice flour
- Combine all the ingredients,knead till smooth dough, divide dough into 12g each. Wrap in nian gao filling and shape dough into a ball.
- Coat the balls with flour and deep fry in medium hot oil until golden brown.
