Chocolate Chip and Walnut Cookies

Ingredients:
250g butter
1 tsp vanilla essence
125g castor sugar
125g brown sugar
1 egg
320 g plain flour
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
200g chocolate chips
100g chopped walnuts – coarsely chopped
Method:
- Beat butter, vanilla essence, sugar and egg with electric mixer until smooth.
- Add in flour and bicarbonate of soda and stir in chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.
- Drop level tablespoon of mixture onto trays and bake at 180ºC for 15 minutes, or till golden brown.
- Cool on wire rack before storing in cookie containers.
