BBQ Pork Dumpling With Sesame
Ingredients A:
220g glutinous rice flour
40g tapioca flour
250ml water
Ingredients B:
80g wheat flour
130ml hot water
Ingredients C:
100g sugar
70g shortening
Fillings:
400g BBQ pork /Char Siew/Char Siu (diced)
2 pcs onion (shredded)
Seasoning:
1½tbsp light soy sauce
1½tbsp sugar
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1tsp sesame oil
adequate dark soy sauce
Gravy:
2 tbsp corn flour
4 tbsp water
For coating:
200g white sesame
50g black sesame
Methods:
- Mix wheat flour with hot water. Add ingredients A and C to form a dough.
- Heat pot with oil, fry onion shreds. Add BBQ pork dices and seasoning, fry evenly. Add gravy and mix well. Set aside.
- Divide the dough to 30g each, wrap in filling, coat well with some water and sesame. Deep-fry dumplings in hot oil until golden brown. Serve.
